Yes, EyeHigh wall-art that uses MagicStick to hang on the wall can be moved to a new location or removed altogether. The sticky pads that come with our hang-kits are reusable and, so long as you’re careful, there’ll be no damage to your wall.
Moving
- Starting with 1 corner, carefully wedge your fingers between the artwork and the wall to get a firm grip.
- Very slowly, pry the corner of the artwork away from the wall. Don’t rush, or else the paint may pull off the wall.
- Repeat for each corner of the artwork.
- Once the artwork is removed from the wall, reapply it to a new location immediately. Use your hang-kit again to help you do so.
Storing
The sticky pads attract dust and other objects so, for longer term storage, you’ll need to cover them. Use the plastic sheet that came with your hang-kit. If you lost it, any firm non-porous plastic shout work. Test it on a pad to make sure it peels off. Strips of old plastic stationary pouches could work but avoid thin plastics that stretch, like kitchen cling film, and paper-based products.
If the sticky pads have lost their grip, apply a little water to them to clean. This helps to regain their stickiness for reuse.
